ILDA Viewer by LaserAnimation Sollinger GmbH is a compact, purpose-built tool for opening and inspecting ILDA (.ild) laser show files. It provides an accurate visual preview of point-based laser frames and animations so you can verify geometry, colors, point density, and timing before sending content to a projector or show controller.

Key capabilities:

  • Supports standard ILDA file formats, including indexed-color (Formats 0/1) and true-color (Formats 4/5), and reads embedded palettes.
  • Frame-by-frame inspection and real-time playback with adjustable speed and looping.
  • 2D and 3D viewing modes with zoom, pan, and rotate, plus optional grid and bounding box overlays.
  • Clear visualization of scan paths and blanking to help spot jumps, retraces, and other artifacts.
  • At-a-glance statistics such as frame count, point count, and blanked vs. visible points.
  • Non-destructive preview transforms (scale, rotate, translate) without altering your source file.
  • Header and metadata inspection, including ILDA headers and palette information.
  • Streamlined workflow with drag-and-drop loading.
